It’s the time of year again to share a little love (and hugs and kisses too)!
I met up with Chloe and Teddy and their friends for a Valentine’s Day photoshoot – that’s SIX gorgeous babies! Hearts and flowers aside, these lovelies surely inspire us all to send happy thoughts out into the world.

On a very wet and windy day in London, I met up with the lovely Elisi and Lee for our pre-wedding shoot. These two braved the weather with grace and big, happy smiles!

This week I got to meet the gorgeous Teddy, Chloe and Mike’s new addition! He was a joy to photograph and a wonderful little model. Many congratulations to the new parents again!

I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Mummy-to-be Chloe and her bump this weekend. It was a glorious late autumn afternoon and the sun shone down on us, throwing out some stunning colours and playful light.
Soon-to-be-Daddy joined us later and we got some lovely, fun shots together.
Can’t wait to meet and take some snaps of the munchkin when he arrives! 🙂

On Saturday I was privileged to photograph Gary & Sara’s woodland-themed wedding, and what a wonderful day it was!
So much thought was put into the details of the wedding; almost everything was handmade, from the very popular candy-cart to the wooden-carved table names.
Sara was an incredibly beautiful bride and Gary a dashing gentlemen – I wish them every happiness in the world, for now and always.

One of my absolute favourite things about a wedding, is seeing all the personal details that have gone into making it special. I’m talking about the tiny details that the happy couple will have spent ages agonizing over but that may very well go unnoticed by some guests.
The confetti, the place-names, the table decor, the wonderful favours, and more…all these perfect things that make a wedding whole.
It’s these little touches that help make a wedding truly unique.
And it’s delightful capturing them on camera!

They say in the ‘biz: ‘never work with children or animals’…But if a photographer applied this advice to their work they’d lose a huge percentage of clients. Pet and infant portraiture are a working photographer’s bread and butter.
The thing about photographing animals is that they’re always moving – they want to play, frolic, chase, fly, and who can blame them when there’s fun to be had! 😉 Even when they’re still, they’re not really still. 
As with anything, practice makes perfect. I like to get myself out there and do just that: practice, practice, practice. Get yourself to a zoo, an animal sanctuary, a farm, even a park, and there will be some great opportunities to hone your skills. Plus, it’s a real laugh!
Whether you’re dealing with an angry llama, an inquisitive duck, a graceful falcon, or a sheep in labour…you’ll find yourself snap-happy.

This weekend I set myself a photographic assignment: The Color Run UK.
The Color Run is a 5k charity race that’s held all over the US; this year they launched the run in the UK for the first time, starting at Wembley on Sunday.
The race is dubbed “The Happiest 5K On The Planet” and it really, truly is! There was a sea of happy faces from Start to Finish and fun, fun, fun.
After the race there was music and dancing at the main stage (with colour throws every fifteen minutes), water hoses cooling people down, leaf-blowers to get rid of that pesky colour, and loads more.
I couldn’t recommend it enough; I’ll have to participate next year.
It was also a fantastic opportunity for some colourful pics!
I met up with this lovely couple in Oxford on a bright, sunny day for our pre-shoot. They were great fun and I can’t wait for the big day.
